BIA Open House Thurs. Oct 1st: Light DinnerPlease join us for another Open House Event on Thursday Oct 1, at 5:30 p.m.at the Crystal Palace.
We are excited to share the news about our plans for this Christmas shopping season and introduce our marketing campaign. The BIA is working closely with the Town of Perth and Perth Tourism, to share ideas, costs and to pool our resources to create a series of events for before and after theChristmas holidays. We will be sharing the costs of print, online and radio advertisements and we are looking forward to partnering with community groups to share the spirit of Christmas and support these wonderful organizations in our community. Our new Community Services Director for the Town of Perth, Shannon Baillon will be introduced, Karen Rennie from Perth Tourism will also speak about this year’s plans and Cathy James will discuss the plans for the 200th Anniversary events. After the brief presentations the floor will be open for a question and answer period and any representative will be happy to answer any questions that you might have, or discuss any idea that you would like to offer. We want to hear what questions are important to you. This is the first year of the BIA’s 5 year plan, and we are thrilled to announce that 10 000 lights will be coming to our downtown in mid-November. We are looking forward to adding several new elements to our holiday season decorations in the coming years and create a destination venue for Christmas shopping. This year we would also like to create a Christmas brochure listing which stores are open during the busy Christmas season and we will distribute these brochures within and outside of the Perth area. We will need your Christmas schedule in late October to create the brochure and have it ready to distribute in early November. |
