After many months of construction and renovations, I am exited to let you know that my new Design Studio & Boutique Gallery at The Old Mill, 64 Gore St East in downtown Perth is now open!
The building was the former Dodds and Erwin Feed Mill located behind the TD Bank and at the entrance to the wonderful Stewart Park.
A New Chapter Begins....
I was sad to say good bye to my tiny store /home for the
past 9 years at 16 Gore St. E. in Perth.
For the 22 years before I opened my boutique, I had been running my Design Business selling my limited edition leather and suede to boutiques throughout North America.
This little store gave me new direction and focus. In addition to the leather and suede clothing, I now design in silk and wool. I have off the rack and all designs can be made to measure and/or customized.
I am already feeling more creative in the larger and glamorous space!
With 18’ industrial ceilings ,a red oak staircase and a chandelier mezzanine, this new space is providing me with a place to display my unique clothing and accessories in a manner that I feel they deserve and I have always wanted.
My made to measure business has increased dramatically and has given me the confidence to move into my new larger design studio and boutique gallery.
This unique space will be the setting for future event fashion shows and artist openings.
The goal of this boutique gallery will be to mix my designs with local artists and fine crafts people. As a working artisan for over 30 years, I know the difficulty in finding the right exposure for your work. I would like to create a platform to foster emerging and established artists.
As a place for like minded people to gather and be inspired, I look forward to visiting with you at my new Design studio and boutique gallery in beautiful downtown Perth.
