Launching our Fundraising Initiative
The BIA has hired the talented duo of Cathy and Toby James from Cat’s Cove Communications to help us fund raise this year. The Perth BIA has a yearly commitment of $7000 to pay our portion of the installation and removal costs for the 10,000 LED lights on the Christmas trees in the downtown. Cat’s Cove Communications has been hired to do three tasks to raise the required funds. They will actively look for sponsors for the trees, organize and host three progressive dinners this year, and organize a fall event this September to raise funds. They will take a commission from each of the three initiatives to pay their fee and the end result will be approximately $7000.00 for our Christmas light budget.
New Stewart Park Festival Administrators!
Cathy and Toby have also been hired this year to be the Stewart Park Festival Administrators so they will be a frequent visitor to the BIA office. We are looking forward to their enthusiasm and fresh ideas. Cat’s Cove Communications were the driving force behind the 200th celebrations last year!
