We are thrilled to announce -that Studio 87 and Décor A La Mode, will be opening soon on Gore St.
Randa Khoury and Martin Hauschild are bringing two wonderful new businesses to our beautiful downtown. They are in the process of moving from Ottawa to Perth and their passion for Perth’s historical ambiance is evident in the beautiful restoration that is taking place at 87 Gore St. East. They have restored the building to its former glory by enhancing the original architectural features. They have stained the original floors, highlighted a beautiful tin ceiling and created an historical reproduction of a stone fireplace complete with a 150 year old wooden beam as its mantle. The fireplace is a gorgeous focal point in this newly restored space, and was constructed by a former Algonquin College graduate.
Studio 87 will be open to the public this Sunday from 10-6 p.m., so please drop by and welcome Randa and Martin to our community.
In the first quarter of 2017 we will look forward to the opening of Décor A La Mode a new interior design studio coming to 92 Gore St. East. Randa is passionate about consulting with her clients and enjoys advising them on how to create a space that is joyous, with an international flair. All of her décor is made in Canada or Europe and many of her pieces will be displayed in her new design store. The layout of the Décor A La Mode will be similar to a home and will consist of a showroom and an office.
We will look forward to the opening of their second business in the first quarter of 2017 and the European flair that it will bring to beautiful downtown Perth!
