A Business Improvement Area is a specific geographic district designated by a local municipality to improve and beautify municipal land while promoting the area for business and shopping (municipal act, 2001, section 204).
Our story
The Downtown Heritage Perth BIA was established by the Town of Perth in the 1970s. It is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by community-led committees, and one paid staff member.
Together, we exist to strengthen our downtown by promoting local businesses, enhancing public spaces, and fostering collaboration among merchants, partners, and the community to create a thriving, engaging, and inclusive commercial district.
